National "Love your pet day"

So today is apparently National Love your Pet Day :)

And it's probably a good thing! Cause Koda isn't very loveable today! He was caught "red pawed" chewing my daughter Jasmine's good black heels that she needs for CAP. We also found that he chewed on some stuffed animals and things in his spare time.

Yep - I know, he's still a pup. And yes ... he is an australian shepherd! If you don't know already, australian shepherds are super smart! To smart sometimes. Their best attribute is that they're SMART, and their worst attribute is that they're SMART. They get bored easily and will find ways to occupy themselves. So Jasmine's shoes and the stuffed animals fell prey to our very bored Koda today.

Could it have been prevented? YES! But it was a chaotic busy day and we just didn't have the time to keep him occupied so he ended up unsupervised in Jasmine's room for a while. We should've known better. So in reality, it's pretty much OUR FAULT not his.

Regardless, we love the fluffy rotten boy.

Although Jasmine isn't loving him so much right now ;)

And Xena, she's always a sweetheart. She stays out of trouble. Can't say she's ever chewed anything in her life that wasn't hers! She's a good girl!
