How to reserve your puppy

We want to be sure that our puppies are going to happy loving homes that will love them forever. We want to make sure that you are fully aware of what to expect with your australian shepherd. They are a wonderful breed! But we don’t want anyone to get a puppy and not know anything about it or what to expect. Now if you’re ready to commit to owning one of these AMAZING dogs, here are the steps to reserve your puppy! ...

Step 1 to reserving a puppy:

First, complete the “Reserve a Puppy Form” https://jwaussies.wixsite.com/aussiesinpa/waiting-list

Next, you must contact me directly and let me know that you completed the “Reserve a Puppy Form” and that you want to be added to the contact list, you will remain on the contact list until you get a puppy or ask to be taken off.

(everyone gets a fair chance at a puppy).

Contacting me through facebook is best.

Step 2:

When the puppies are born, I will send out an email and/or facebook message/post and let everyone know the puppies have been born along with all the info about the litter (when they will be ready, how many males, females, when the deposit day is, etc.). In this message/post I let everyone know what date I will start accepting deposits for you to reserve a puppy, typically it will be about 2-3 weeks after the puppies are born and have been checked out by the vet. On and after the deposit date, its first come first serve as far as who gets a permitted deposit to me. I will be checking my messages frequently and will update everyone as I receive deposits as to what is still available. If for some reason I would receive more deposits than I have puppies, I can keep you on my contact list for our next litter. If that doesn’t work for you, I would refund your deposit to you as soon as possible. We plan to have 2-3 litters of australian shepherds per year between our 4 Australian Shepherds, and 1 litter of border aussies per year.

Step 3:

TO RESERVE A PUPPY I NEED A $100 nonrefundable DEPOSIT, I DO NOT HOLD PUPPIES WITHOUT A DEPOSIT, AND I DO NOT ACCEPT DEPOSITS BEFORE THE DEPOSIT DAY. (deposit instructions below) We do the deposits this way so that every single person on our contact list has equal opportunity to get a puppy,

those who REALLY want a puppy and will be a good home/family for a pup pretty much always get one.

How to Put A Deposit Down to Reserve a Puppy: PayPal is the best option for you to quickly secure a puppy, if this is impossible for you, contact me about other methods. So I recommend making sure you have your PayPal ready, or open an account if you don't have one already, if you have one make sure it’s up and working.

How to send a deposit on deposit day: paypal.me/JulieWeimer On the deposit day you can log on to your PayPal account and click "Send & Request" (it’s the 3rd tab), input the amount as $100, and my paypal email: jwphotographypa@aol.com (PLEASE make sure you spell my email correctly! ) PLEASE use Friends and Family option for a free transaction, and to not delay the funds reaching my account. Please Note : the deposit is non refundable.

IMPORTANT: If there is a hold put on your deposit, I cannot hold your puppy for you until the payment hold is released. If there is a hold on your deposit and the puppy you choose has another deposit on it without a hold that person will get the reservation, regardless of your deposit was before theirs. I will refund your money if you do not get a puppy once the payment is off hold and available in my account.

In the note section on your paypal deposit payment plase list your preferences of the following:

Color preferrence
Male or Female

Then follow the prompts until you complete your payment. (I can also send you a PayPal invoice if you prefer, but you cannot respond to the invoice and send the payment until the deposit day or it will not be accepted).

Step 2: After you send the payment: message me saying you just sent your payment, include your full name, address, email, and phone number (for records and correspondence accuracy) whether you want a male or female, color preference (if any) and if you will accept the opposite if your first choice is not available. I will message you back when I get the payment, I will be checking my messages throughout the day but please don't panic if I don't respond immediately. If you cannot figure out how to send this on your own please let me know, I can also send you an invoice on PayPal. Once I receive and acknowledge your deposit, your puppy is reserved for you!

Choosing your puppy once you have reserved one:

You will be allowed to pick your puppy in the order that I received deposits. If you were first deposit, you get first choice, second deposit gets second choice, and so on. If you would like to pick your puppy in person, you can schedule a time to come and visit and pick your puppy. I also will take TONS of pictures and videos of the puppies and try to always give personality descriptions and any differences I have seen in personality, etc. Any disputes over picking puppies will be resolved by when I received your deposit for your puppy.

They are ready to go to their new homes by 8-9weeks old.

We can hold them until 10-12 weeks old, but we do charge $25 a week per puppy after they turn 9 weeks to hold them.

This is because they are growing pups which will require more effort from us to keep them well socialized, played with, and cared for. Also between 9-11 weeks they should be going to the vet for their 2nd set of shots, so we would like for you to be able to take them to your vet for that. We can arrange for them to get their second set while they are with us if needed. If this happens you will be responsible for vet bill prior to appointment and if there are any surprise charges by our vet you will also be responsible to pay that by the time you pick your puppy up.

MEETING UP We are able to meet up to deliver puppies if the meetup location and date works for us. Currently we have no interest in shipping puppies, so if you are several hours drive of us, it is possible to meet with us for your puppy. We will consider driving up to 2-3hrs to meet, but will require a transport fee to do so.
